Project overview.
I supported the J. Press clothing website through ADK, combining custom PHP functionality with substantial database work.
The website contained thousands of products. Each spring, summer, fall, and winter collection required product updates, making data collection and database changes a recurring part of supporting the site.
Keeping thousands of products aligned with seasonal collections.
An apparel catalog changes as new collections arrive. Supporting the website meant working with the product data behind the storefront as well as its custom web functionality.
My responsibilities included database mining, data collection, and DML changes to support those recurring seasonal updates.
My contribution.
Database mining and data collection
Worked directly with the database to investigate and collect the information needed for product catalog updates.
DML changes for product updates
Made data manipulation changes as part of maintaining thousands of products for seasonal collections.
Custom PHP and website support
Supported the website through custom PHP functionality alongside the database work, connecting application maintenance with the product catalog behind it.
