Project overview.
I developed the New Tibetan Bible mobile application in Objective-C. This project extends my portfolio beyond web and enterprise applications into native mobile development.
The published App Store listing describes a Tibetan reading and listening app for iPhone and iPad. It identifies Ascendo Solutions as the developer. The screenshots below show the published app’s library, reading view, and display settings.
Bringing a content-focused experience to a handheld screen.
A reading application depends on clear presentation and navigation in a limited space. Tibetan text also makes the relationship between content, typography, and screen layout an important part of the product context.
My contribution was mobile application development in Objective-C. The published app provides the context for that work, while the translation and editorial content are separate contributions.
